Benefit Coralista Ultra Plush Lipgloss Review - Thankyou Elle Magazine! X

My mum once took out an Elle magazine subscription for me for my birthday and it's like a dream come true it just never seems to stop
and it's been years!?! Haha! I'm not complaining!! Heaven. If that isn't a treat enough every so often there's an amazing little sample that comes free with it! It came through my letterbox today and this lovely sample size of Benefit Coralista Plush lipgloss was with it! Generally I'm very much a dramatic coloured lipstick girl and rarely tend to wear nude/pink/coral girly glosses, especially in the winter I go for reds and plums but out of sheer curiosity I tried it ...and I actually completely love it!! I would say it's a very natural lip colour but with a nice hint of coral warmth. In its little tube it looks highly pigmented and coral but from my pictures you can see it applies with a much more sheer hint of colour! It's super glossy and although I do have quite full lips anyway definitely gives the illusion of plumping them up! It's a lovely soft texture on the lips. Not sticky. So it isn't going to attach itself to your hair when it's windy ha! (my pet hate!) Perfect for a day off, natural makeup day or to compliment a smoky eye look. It has just enough colour to be flattering as pale glosses tend to make my teeth look yellow, but I feel this helps brighten them up as it does have a little depth of colour to it. The perfect natural gloss with a hint of colour! The little handy sample size tube is perfect for my handbag! And I always love Benefit's retro-cool packaging. Full size retails at £14.50. Each of the plush gloss colours match with a benefit face powder for ultimate impact. For girls who love to match their lips and cheeks.. this is perfect! Generally I unfairly overlook Benefit as a go-to brand at the moment with so many other big brands contending for people's attention and custom although I have had a few of their products in the past that I've loved, this may just have encouraged me to revisit them! Thank you Elle magazine! Tut x

Hello beautiful blogging world! Xxx

I'm so excited to finally be entering the amazing blogosphere!!I am fashion and beauty obsessed and just want to share my passion and fab finds with the rest of you! I have my favourite products and shops just like everyone else but I am always on the hunt for life changing new products and great places to shop. I am a very bright and colourful person - literally! I love making a statement with clothing and makeup and how it can instantly make you feel a million dollars!! I have been working for the mighty Topshop as a visual and creative for over 5 years so I'm in the fast paced world of high street fashion every day and it only fuels my obsession and hunger for more! I particularly have developed a love for styling and work on many local magazine photo-shoots and just generally love choosing outfits for customers and friends! My hobbies also include trawling websites and shops until I find exactly what I want!!

We all know how much better we feel when we've been to get our nails done... and my love affair with Shellac began when one of my close friends opened her own salon last year - heaven!! Knowing your nails would look picture perfect for 2 weeks was amazing! But for a lot of us do we have the time or money for this luxury?? High street brands are making it easier and easier to achieve a similar effect in your own home and for a fraction of the price!! I've recently became obsessed by Mega High street beauty brand Barry M's 'Gelly Hi-Shine' range. Easy to apply, great coverage, a long lasting and high shine finish and all at £3.99 what's not to love??!! Their newest summer launch shows the introduction of 5 new summer ready shades to the already highly praised collection. When I popped in to my local boots to check out the new colours I fell in love with 'Guava' a beautiful turquoise blue and literally my favourite colour ever! Everybody thought I'd been for Shellac!! Unfortunately these nail varnishes only seem to last 3-5 days tops for me before they begin to chip but personally that's because I'm hands on all day while working and it can be easily topped up so I can't complain!! I find 2 coats will guarantee you prolonged longevity although the strength of the colour is good enough after only one. It's safe to say I can't wait to stock up on more colours for summer!! Get yourself to your local Boots or Superdrug store -quick!! ( I feel the colour has a slightly more turquoise/ green hint than my photos represent).

Just while I'm talking about my favourite turquoise hue I thought I'd share some of my latest can't-live-without bargain accessory purchases in this beautiful summer time shade...
It's all about the statement necklace this summer. Wear it with anything from dresses to tshirts or under your shirt collar for a sophisticated look! I have hardly had this off since I bought it! For those daring to stand out.. team with leopard print for a look straight off the Cavalli catwalk. Natalie Statement necklace £15,Accessorize http://uk.accessorize.com/view/product/uk_catalog/acc_2.9/4820764200
Dress Topshop £45
I've had so many people asking about this bag! You can't beat a bit of fringing for your summer arm candy and the colour gives it the designer worthy edge! Also comes with a long shoulder strap. A bargain at £35 Pretaportobello http://www.pretaportobello.com/ppb/turquoise-tassel-bag.aspx
These are now my go to wear for anything shoes!! I'm only 5"3 so I am complete high heel lover and sometimes find it hard to feel glamorous in flats! But these pretty statement pumps caught my eye! Gorgeous turquoise suede with the pointed front detail give them the dressed up spin they need to keep you out of casual territory.. and for £19.99 I think it would be rude not to treat myself to the other colour too!! (Also in pink) Zara, £19.99
